Sutherland Shire Council

Sutherland Shire takes in the coastal area of Cronulla lying between Sydney's Botany Bay and Port Hacking.
The Royal National Park stretches south from the south bank of Port Hacking.
Sutherland Shire was once regarded as part of the Illawarra district and the train line running from Sydney to Cronulla is still known as the Illawarra line.
