Cafes, coffee & restaurants

There's often a kiosk near the ocean baths or nearby surf beach that sells coffee and icecreams along with other eats and drinks. Wylies Baths at Coogee has a kiosk providing food and drink to enjoy on the huge timber deck overlooking the pool or down below in the shady spaces created by the deck.

Bronte and Newcastle have cafes named after their Bogey Holes, while Maroubra has a Pool Café across the road from the Mahon Pool's carpark. The café/kiosk above the Clovelly pool is called Seasalt.

Rubys café in the Bulli surf club building overlooks Bulli's ocean baths and serves magnificent hamburgers best shared by two. In Sydney, patrons of the Icebergs restaurant or the bistro and bar in the Bondi Icebergs club can overlook the Icebergs Pool and Bondi Beach. Diners at the restaurant near the Fairy Bower pool at Manly often risk a wetting from sea spray. Feast sits right on the southern end of Avoca Beach and offers views across the rock pool and the beach, as well as French cuisine.
