Religious ceremonies

Christian baptisms have taken place at a number of ocean baths including the Newcastle Ocean Baths, Norah Head, Mona Vale, Freshwater and the Bronte Bogey Hole and at ocean baths in the Illawarra.

Greek Orthodox Epiphany celebrations have been held at the Newcastle Bogey Hole since the 1960s.
