Special events

Special events at the ocean baths range from sculpture events at the Newcastle Ocean Baths, theatrical performances, cinema screenings and film festivals to religious ceremonies, weddings and pool parties

People intending to use ocean baths for any event (other than the smaller informal events) may be required to obtain an Event Licence from the relevant Council.

Special events around the ocean baths include ocean swims (Bronte to Bondi, Thirroul) and Sydney's annual Sculpture by the Sea event along the coast between Bronte and Bondi.
